1.Preheating Zone: In the preheating zone, materials are preheated using the heat from the flue gas. Based on these characteristics, clay bricks are commonly used for the lining in the preheating zone.
2.Insulating Zone: The insulating zone is crucial in terms of temperature retention and heat dissipation in modern ceramic kilns. 3.Firing Zone: The firing zone operates at high temperatures and experiences intense chemical reactions. The lining in this zone should have strong resistance to the erosion of clinker, as well as resistance to SO3 and CO2. Magnesia-alumina spinel bricks are commonly used for the lining in the firing zone. 4.Cooling Zone: The cooling zone and the kiln mouth have temperatures reaching around 1400°C, with significant temperature fluctuations. Grinding of clinker and air flushing are both severe in this area. The lining in the cooling zone requires low thermal conductivity, good wear resistance, and excellent thermal shock resistance. Refractory bricks with excellent thermal shock resistance, such as spinel bricks or high alumina bricks, are suitable for the cooling zone.
